It's nothing special nor was it anything that I expected it to be. It was blazing hot and what a better place to be than a water adventure park. On a recent visit to the Phoenix area we were really looking forward to visiting this attraction. Not well organized and too may malfunctions. Our cousins have been to other waterparcs as well as we're not impressed with this one. Lockers for rent (3 sizes, starting at €8 per day). Great way to spend a hot say with your kids. Enough places to sit in shade, on chairs/beds/towels on the astroturf. Bathrooms get dirty quickly and are not cleaned often enough. In August they usually have a deal with regular day tickets, like get a 2nd day for free. Only really useful for wavepool which is just as much as without it. Don't invest in renting your own tube/raft, not worth it.

Many extras, including free parking (instead of $8 each time) and 5x fast passes (virtually standing in line, well worth it).
#Groupon hurricane harbor phoenix upgrade
We got a free upgrade to gold because we bought our passes at the beginning of the season. If you plan on going at least twice, look at getting a seasons pass. Many slides malfunction rather often unfortunately. It's very family oriented with tons of lifeguards keeping situations safe. We picked this one because of its location (close to hotel and family).

They are charging Disneyland pricing for entry!! Here’s the kicker, Disney’s fast pass is FREE!!!!! Sunsplash in Mesa may not be as big but is cheaper, faster, more organized and much more enjoyable!! We will never waste our money again!!! Don’t waste yours!! Don’t forget you have to pay for lockers ($8-$12) and PARKING!!! This place needs to realize that they are not Disneyland. After we already paid $91 with our discounts? NO way. Then if you do not want to wait in line (well ok, wait in a slightly shorter line is more like it) you can pay an additional $19.99 + tax to do that. The prices to get into this place are HORRIBLE! We used a Groupon and still paid $91 for 3 of us. I have been to a lot of water parks in my time and this was the worst one I have ever been too. You have to walk to the entrance of the park if you wanted one that you could get into and was somewhat usable. Not to mention it smelled like a porta potty. The one bathroom closest to the wave pool only had 2 little tiny stalls in it and one didn't even work. There was no motivation on the part of any of the workers (all high school kids). We only went on 5 rides the whole time we were there. We were there for 7 1/2 and literally we waited in line for 5 hours of that time. There was indeed a lot of people there however, the slowness and disorganization of how the rides were run and managed was horrible. The wait to get thru the lines was ridiculous. This was the most disorganized water park I have ever been too.
